811 Republican St.
Seattle, WA 98109

2nd floor classroom

Skill level: novice to professional.

A private workshop for “Galápagos Through the Lens” travelers, this seminar educates and equips participants for their photographic journey before departure.

Why do some photographs speak to your soul and remain in your memory long after you’ve turned away, while others fade more quickly? How do great artists and photographers engage with the viewer, spark their imagination and discover a new way of seeing?

In this full-day seminar, participants will:

  • Deepen their photography knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Receive professional guidance on equipment purchases and rental options.
  • Connect and build community with fellow travelers.
  • Benefit from exclusive discounts and pricing on purchases and rentals at Glazer’s Camera.

“If you feel as though your photography should be less about capturing the moment and more about intentionally creating an artistic composition, then this is for you.”

—Art Wolfe, ’75
