Return to Husky

On Sunday, June 12, 2022, the University of Washington will honor the graduating classes of 2020 and 2021 in a special ceremony in Husky Stadium. Due to public health concerns over COVID-19, the Commencement ceremonies for both classes were hybrid in nature.  We are thrilled to finally honor both classes with the on-campus graduation celebration that was promised them.  Over 4,300 graduates are expected to take the field at Husky Stadium to the cheers and applause of 40,000 family members and friends.

All graduates will walk across the 4,000 square foot purple and gold commencement stage, adorned with life-sized replicas of the University columns, and have their photographs taken as they receive their diploma mementos (a purple leather diploma cover bearing the official seal of the University of Washington).

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime event in the lives of graduates and parents alike and we can’t wait to see you!

Participants

For those graduates who do not have a cap and gown, it may be purchased through the Registration/Order Form, beginning April 12. All graduates are expected to read the graduate instructions and ceremony conduct agreement.
