U-PASSes must be tapped by Aug. 23

Faculty and staff with U-PASSes who have not yet tapped their U-PASS on an ORCA reader on a bus or at a transit station must do so before Aug. 23 to finalize activation of the pass and avoid an interruption in service.

If U-PASS participants do not tap their U-PASSes on an ORCA reader within 60 days of the date it was issued (Aug. 23 for faculty and staff U-PASS members who received preprinted Husky Cards in the June 10 payroll distribution), their U-PASSes will become inactive and will require reactivation online.  U-PASSes will be available for use on transit within 24 to 48 hours after a reactivation request, at which time cardholders must tap their cards on an ORCA reader to finalize activation.
