Learn how sports medicine harnesses the body's own healing potential
Seattle Public Library Medical Lecture Series
Dr. Harmon’s biography
The lecture is free and geared toward the general public.
Harmon will explain how athletes are using their own blood to heal faster from sports injuries. Similar treatments can be used to heal chronic injuries and exercisers of all ages and abilities.
Lean how physicians jump start the body’s own healing abilities with the new procedure, called platelet rich plasma therapy (PRP).
Harmon is a UW associate professor of family medicine and practices at UW Sports Medicine, Hall Health, on the UW main campus.
