Beginning in January, University Week will accept paid display advertising.
After budget cuts led to less frequent of publication this year, University Week launched an online edition with e-mail notification. “But considering that further budget cuts are likely, it seemed prudent to seek an additional source of revenue to ensure the paper publication’s continued high quality,” said Bob Roseth, director of the Office of News and Information, which produces University Week.
University Week will accept advertising from the campus community and also from off-campus entities. News and Information has contracted with Varsity Communications to be University Week’s exclusive advertising representative. Varsity Communications also handles advertising for Columns, the UW alumni magazine.
