Jennifer Magnani, Director

Jennifer Magnani, MSW, LICSW brings over 20 years of experience in social work as a clinician and leader to the Husky Assist team. Her clinical experience encompasses outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, home hospice and crisis response work. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree at UW, and is proud to be back on the UW campus helping the campus community. Jennifer is passionate about creating health and social systems that work effectively and serve those most in need. She is committed to assisting people with healing from trauma, anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys cooking, getting out in nature and spending time with her family.

Grace Kim, Mobile Responder

Husky Assist Mobile Responder Grace Kim stands outside of Gerberding Hall on the UW campus.

Grace is honored to join the Husky Assist team, bringing experience supporting youth and adults across school, outpatient and community settings. Her work centers on trauma-informed care, suicide prevention and cultural humility. She earned her Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr College and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the UW community through compassionate, in-person mental health support. Grace is passionate about expanding access to care and fostering spaces where people feel seen, heard and a genuine sense of belonging. In her free time, she enjoys practicing hot yoga, discovering new ramen spots and exploring Washington’s beach trails with her dogs, Olive and Walnut.
