Early Fall Start U-PASS & Commuter Products
Students participating in the Early Fall Start program or who are in an academic program that starts before September 20 may purchase an Early Start U-PASS or parking permit.
Do You Qualify?
If you are registered for the Early Fall Start program or another specialized program that starts before September 20, you have been pre-approved to purchase an Early Start U-PASS or parking permit.
Early Start U-PASS
Participation in the U-PASS program requires a valid Husky Card with photo and registration for autumn quarter.
Purchase Online from August 1 - August 22, 2013: Online pre-orders have closed for the year. U-PASSes pre-ordered between August 1 and August 22 will be active and ready for use on transit starting on August 26. Pre-orders cannot be processed if you are not registered for autumn quarter and/or you do not have a valid Husky Card with photo by August 22.
Purchase in Person Starting August 23, 2013: Early Start U-PASSes can also be purchased in person at Commuter Services starting August 23. Payment can be made with cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, or Husky Card Account. Commuter Services is located at 3745 15th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105. Our hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm. U-PASSes purchased in person at Commuter Services will be active for transit 2 days after purchase. In-person orders cannot be placed if you are not registered for autumn quarter and/or do not have a valid Husky Card with photo.
Validity Period of the Early Start U-PASS
Early Start U-PASSes will be valid until September 30, 2013.
Cost of the Early Start U-PASS
The cost of the Early Start U-PASS is based on when you purchase it. If you purchase your Early Start U-PASS between August 1 and 22, the pre-order price will be $59.40. After that, the price will be prorated based on the day you purchase your pass. The pricing chart below will help you determine how much you need to pay.

Early Start Parking Permit
Purchase in Person Starting August 19, 2013: Early Start parking permits may be purchased in person at Commuter Services starting August 19. Payment can be made with cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, or Husky Card Account. Current vehicle registration is required to purchase a parking permit from the Commuter Services office. Validity Period of the Parking Permit
Early Start parking permits are valid from August 26 through September 20.
Cost of the Parking Permit
