Why Join the Team
Many students find this experience indispensable, as it not only enriches their understanding of medicine but also prepares them for future roles in healthcare by building confidence and resilience in high-pressure situations.
Beyond emergency response, you will contribute to cultivating a culture of care and preparedness, working alongside campus departments to support health initiatives and emergency readiness. This involvement creates a safer, more resilient campus community where students and staff feel supported and protected.
Our program gives EMTs the opportunity to engage in community outreach through public education programs such as CPR, first aid, and overdose prevention trainings. Volunteering your time to these efforts fosters meaningful connections with the broader community and promotes public health awareness.
This spirit of service not only strengthens your leadership and interpersonal skills but also allows you to make a lasting difference by empowering others with lifesaving knowledge and resources.
