You can now enroll in Husky Coronavirus Testing (Message to students)

This message was sent to all students enrolled at the University of Washington.

Dear Students,

Today, we encourage you to take a few minutes to enroll in the Husky Coronavirus Testing program. If you will be on campus for any reason this year, or if you are living with several other people off campus, your participation is even more important.*

Enroll now

Husky Coronavirus Testing is free to you, and your data will be protected. You won’t get in trouble for testing positive — the UW will not use testing information to discipline individuals.

Even if you have previously been tested for COVID-19 — and even if you’ve tested positive in the past — you are strongly encouraged to enroll in Husky Coronavirus Testing. We know that young people are just as likely to catch and spread the coronavirus as older adults, even if they have no symptoms. While many young people have relatively mild illness, some have become ill for weeks or longer, and we don’t know the long-term health impacts.

Thanks for doing your part to Protect Your Pack!

The Husky Coronavirus Testing Team

*Medical and health sciences students participating in clinical activities are welcome to participate in Husky Coronavirus Testing, but will also need to continue to follow specific clinical testing protocols. Student-athletes should continue to participate in UW Athletics’ testing program.
