Thousands of students and hundreds of partners are now using CCUW to manage activities and impacts.

Community Connect UW (CCUW) is a database and management platform that allows UW faculty, staff, students and community partners to connect, organize, and understand impacts of collaboration. Interested in exploring? Login (using your NetID) and join both CCUW’s home group and your campus group (below) to start! BothellSeattle | Tacoma

This winter, we’re expanding Community Connect UW in many directions:

  • More, and more varied, community-engaged courses at each campus
  • Civic Health Scorecard and NextGen Civic Leader Badge, piloting on Seattle campus
  • UW Bothell’s Connected Huskies program piloting on CCUW
  • Multi-quarter community partner field supervisors’ community of practice at UW Tacoma
  • Othello-UW Commons, Riverways, and Latino Leadership Initiative programs beginning to adopt CCUW

Additionally, the new roadmap to assess community engagement at the UW is informing Community Connect UW data architecture and use.

Our demos, guides and step-by-step instructions have expanded this quarter:

By the Numbers:

  • >9,000 students, faculty, staff across 3 campuses
  • >400 community partners now sharing over 50 events of their own
  • >1100 UW positions, events and opportunities
  • >16,000 “impacts” of hours or deliverables
  • 31 winter courses

By fall 2026 we aim to:

  • See the first badges awarded!
  • Build our strategy and begin to support co-curricular community engagement
  • Connect CCUW to other data systems for broader views of CE work
  • Have a solid reporting dashboard
