The Civil Rights Compliance Office (CRC) can be found on the fourth floor of the Gateway Building. The Gateway building is located on the east side of Brooklyn Ave. NE, sandwiched between the two entrances to the University District light rail station, across from the UW Tower.

Parking
The Gateway Building does not have designated parking.
- City of Seattle on-street parking is generally available on NE 43rd St. and Brooklyn Ave. NE, as well as other city streets around the building.
- Visitors with state issued disability permits may park on City of Seattle streets at no cost.
- UW permitted parking is available in the UW Tower Garage A, entrance is located mid-block off 12th Ave NE. This location is 2 blocks from the entrance to the Gateway Building.
Transportation
- The U-District Light Rail Station is located under the Gateway Building. See the station information for more details.
- Bus routes travel city streets surrounding the building: NE 45th St., Roosevelt Way NE, and 11th Ave. NE. Many King County Metro Transit and Snohomish County Community Transit busses stop nearby.
- UW Dial-a-Ride stop #120 is located in the pass-through drive lane on Roosevelt Way NE. See the UW Transportation Services webpage for more details.
- UW Health Sciences Express shuttle stops are nearby at the Roosevelt Clinic and the UW Tower.
- Bicycle racks are located in the UW Tower garage.
Entrances
The main entrance to the Gateway Building is accessible with a power-assist door. If you find the door locked, contact the person you are scheduled to meet with and they will let you into the building.
Elevators
Building elevators are locked for staff use only. Information about how to get to your appointment will be shared by the staff member you are scheduled to meet with.
Service Animals
The UW welcomes service animals for people with disabilities. Other animals are not allowed in the building without an approved accommodation.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located on the 4th floor in proximity to Compliance & Risk Services offices.
