This project will develop an enhanced version of the multimedia application, "Nihongo Partner" for the elementary Japanese language program. Because of the large number of students enrolled in first-year Japanese, students do not have sufficient opportunity for oral practice. The project will produce new video segments that are applicable to first-year level instruction. Students will thus be able to obtain more oral practice and individualized instruction.
