You can apply for a four or three year scholarship as early as the summer after your junior year.
Your Commitment
Your acceptance of the scholarship means a commitment of:
Eight years in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard
You may be eligible to serve part time while pursuing a civilian career immediately after graduation

- Create an account on My GoArmy.
- Upon creating an account, login to the Scholarship Application.
- Locate and contact the ROTC enrollment Officer at the school you plan to attend—their years of experience can help improve your chances.
High School Scholarship Critical Dates
- Second week of JUN Portal opens (applications accepted)
- OCT1st Selection Board. To compete in this board you must have your documents by 12 OCT.
- JAN 2nd Selection Board. To compete in this board you must have your documents in by 18 JAN.
- MAR 3rd Selection Board. To compete in this board you must have your documents by 08 MAR.
