i5 Space is a national student organization that operates under the United States Space Force, Space Training and Readiness Command. The organization is dedicated to developing, educating, and training students across the country who are interested in pursuing careers in the Space Force — whether as active-duty Guardians or civilian professionals. Guided by its five core pillars — Innovate, Inform, Influence, Impact, and Inspire — the organization prepares students to think critically, lead decisively, and contribute meaningfully to the future of the space domain.
At Detachment 910, i5 Space operates as the Bonnie J. Dunbar Squadron. Members engage in structured professional development and technical education focused on the space domain. Through squadron meetings, Space Training and Readiness (STAR) and Cyber curriculum, service projects, and participation in the annual i5 Leadership Launchpad, cadets gain leadership experience, operational insight, and foundational knowledge relevant to officer development.
Through these initiatives, the Bonnie J. Dunbar Squadron seeks to foster the next generation of Space Force officers and leaders who will shape and secure the rapidly evolving space domain. If you are interested in making an impact in the Space Domain, join us!
