Schmitz Hall 8-I

General: Schmitz Hall is a major student resources building containing the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Vice President for Minority Affairs, for Housing and Food Services, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Education Assessment, Student Accounts, Student Loans, Student Counseling and the Office of Disabled Student Services.

Parking: Lot W4 is closest, and has 1 wheelchair parking stall.
The Central Plaza Garage (CPG) Levels C1 through C5 have ADA compliant spaces.

Dial-A-Ride: Stop #24 is located on NE 41st Street at Schmitz Hall.

Entrances: There is a level plaza completely surrounding the building with access to street sidewalks from NE 41st Street and 15th Ave NE.

Entrance #2 to the first floor from NE Campus Parkway has stairs from the street, a level approach at the plaza, a 32" doorway, and a pull handle.

Entrance #4 to the first floor from 41st street has a short ramp at the sidewalk and a level approach at the door, a 34" doorway, and an automatic door with paddle controls.

Elevator(s): Elevators #147 and #148 serve all floors, B through 5, buttons 38" high, Braille markers.

Restrooms: Most accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the 4^th floor, 491(M) and 493(W).

Fountains: Floors 1 through 5, all spout heights 41".

Telephone: Pay phones are located on the first floor and outdoors along the north side. TTY pay phone available on first floor. Campus phones are located on the 2^nd floor by the elevators and by registration.
