Child Drop-Off Permit

The Child Drop Off permit provides thirty (30) minutes of complimentary parking to parents or other responsible adults who have mentally or physically handicapped children or well children enrolled in UW research programs. These individuals may receive a parking permit which allows them to use any convenient parking space or load zone to take their child or children into the building or research facility.

Privileges include:

• Parking for a specific lot and/or space assigned from a campus gatehouse
• Loading/unloading in marked load zones for the posted time limit
• Commercial license plates are required for “Truck Load Only” spaces

Limitations include:

• Non-transferable to any other parking lot/space or person
• Time limited at the gate for use in parking lots or load zones
