Fishery Sciences Recycles Salmon Waste
Campus Partners
In a partnership between the Fisheries Department and Recycling & Solid Waste that started in 2005, more than 30,000 pounds of salmon carcasses are diverted from the waste stream and turned into nutrient-rich compost each year.
We provide innovative and sustainable transportation solutions that facilitate the educational, research, cultural and service missions of the University by connecting people, moving property and advancing the exchange of ideas.
