New hi-tech waste collection kiosks show impressive first-month numbers.

Have you seen the new hi-tech waste kiosks on Red Square? This is the first public area compost collection at UW, and its the first program of its type nationwide. More importantly, the kiosks are already showing a significant impact!

UW Surplus Store 10th Anniversary
Looking toward the future as they celebrate a decade of operational success.

The UW Surplus Store celebrated its 10th anniversary of sales to the public on Tuesday, May 29th. The party included cake, beverages, historical displays, information about local success stories, and some great UW Surplus swag.

The University hosts a month of earth-friendly campus events.

The annual UW Trash-In event took place on Red Square this year and was a victory for campus waste reduction! The University's Earth Day celebration brought the community together to celebrate environmental stewardship and sustainability.
