We support the University of Washington community with custodial, recycling and solid waste services and programs that promote a healthy, environmentally sustainable campus.

Department Initiatives
UW Building Services strives to be a world-class leader by continuously improving and refining processes. Some current initiatives include:
- Lean Process
Building Services is implementing Lean to gain efficiencies and eliminate redundencies in processes. - Balanced Scorecard
The balanced scorecard is a framework that allows us to connect our mission and vision in a strategic approach that balances customer needs, financial resources, business processes, and developing staff. - 5S Process
