The Visiting Faculty Housing Service (VFHS) office is continuing its services remotely

The Visiting Faculty Housing Service (VFHS) is a volunteer organization with a double mission: one, to assist new and visiting faculty and staff in locating housing and a second, to raise funds for scholarships. VFHS is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization and your donation is tax deductible.  Donations after covering minor office expenses are applied wholly to UW undergraduate scholarships. Your donation of $25 or more is greatly appreciated by the VFHS volunteers and, even more so, by our University of Washington students.

VFHS provides a listing service to match new and visiting UW faculty and staff with appropriate rental housing.

The VFHS has now resumed service following a closure during Spring Quarter 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  For the time being we will NOT be available in person at Cunningham Hall, nor will we be accessible via telephone, as all volunteers will be working from their homes.  For the foreseeable future business will be conducted via email only.

Fill out the “housing wanted form“ save it and return it by email to vfhs@uw.edu

Costs
We gladly accept donations for using the service, which then go toward the UW Faculty Auxiliary Scholarship program.
