Introduction to Social and Political Philosophy

An introduction to political theories such as conservatism, liberalism, and socialism and their treatment of select social issues.

Class description

This course will be a survey of classic topics in political philosophy, including: the justification of the state, the proper form of government, liberty, rights, economic justice, and international relations.
