Reading Prose Fiction

Critical interpretation and meaning in works of prose fiction, representing a variety of types and periods.

Class description

The course will deal with major Russian and American novels of Vladimir Nabokov: The Defense (or Luzhin's Defense), Despair, Pnin, and Lolita. For the rest of the description, please see Russ 240.
