Rehearsal and classroom performance of dramatic literature of various periods and styles.
This course utilizes the African American theatrical canon as the primary resource by which student-actors will refine their skills and expand the range of their acting experience. The core course training combines a range of acting and movement techniques (i.e. The System, the Method, Suzuki and Viewpoints) with Afrocentric systems of voice and movement.
