BIMA Spotlight at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art

BIMA Spotlight is Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s first-ever juried group exhibition. The jury selected 150 artists from the Puget Sound region, including UWRA Board member JW Harrington (Urban Studies, UW Tacoma). See the diverse salon-style show and hear the docents discuss the process of curating museum shows. JW will also present about his work. The exhibit includes painting, printmaking, sculpture and much more.

BIMA brings together the contemporary art and craft of the Puget Sound region. The Spotlight exhibit is part of BIMA’s 10th Anniversary Celebration.

The museum is a five-minute walk from the ferry dock (paved, uphill). If you’re driving, free parking is available. Directions and more information about accessibility and visiting the museum are available here.

After the tour, you may wish to gather in the Museum’s Bistro for lunch. Call the Bistro at 206-451-4011 to make reservations.
