A Kiowa's Odyssey honored with Award
of Merit

On October 28, A Kiowa's Odyssey, copublished with the Trout Gallery at Dickinson College, will be honored with the 2008 Award of Merit, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Federation of Museums and Historical Organizations. The award is given to institutions for projects that have made an exemplary contribution to museums or the field of public history, exhibiting excellence and innovation.

Representing over 1,000 museums throughout the Commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Federation of Museums and Historical Organizations is dedicated to increasing public awareness of Pennsylvania's rich collection of museums and historical organizations, and serving as the primary networking organization for museum professionals and volunteers throughout the state.
