Assistant Director of Admissions for Marketing and Recruitment

The newly created position of Assistant Director of Admissions for Marketing and Recruitment in the Office of Admissions will enable the University to implement a marketing plan to meet its strategic undergraduate enrollment goals for quality and diversity. Strategies will capitalize on new and emerging technologies in student recruitment. The endeavor will emphasize: 1) management of the Admissions Prospect Tracking System, which will permit the Office of Admissions to identify and communicate with qualified and diverse prospective students in a more personal, consistent and timely manner; 2) coordination of recruitment efforts with the Office of Minority Affairs, and various University departments and divisions, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall recruitment program. The Assistant Director will also manage the promotion and use of the Course Applicability System (CAS), an internet-based electronic advising system that is designed to assist community college students in their academic planning. CAS systems are being implemented in the states of Ohio, Wisconsin and Arizona. Information on the Arizona CAS may be reviewed at http://casweb.asu.edu/default.sph/CAS.
