How do I apply for a TA-ship at UW?

The Center for Teaching and Learning supports instructors in their teaching here at the university. TA-ships are awarded by graduate departments and programs. If you would like to apply for a graduate program, with the hope of earning a TA-ship, you can contact UW Graduate School Admissions.

I see you have an International TA Program. I live outside the U.S. and would like to apply to teach at UW. How do I proceed?

The international TA Program supports international graduate instructors in their teaching here at UW. TA-ships are awarded by graduate departments and programs. If you would like to apply for a graduate program, please contact UW Graduate School Admissions.

If you are a hoping to come to UW as an exchange student, please contact the Study Abroad’s information for exchanges.

I would like to partner with local K-12 teachers or students in the College of Education.

The Center for Teaching and Learning is a separate unit that works with UW faculty and graduate teaching assistants on teaching. We are not in the College of Education.

Please contact the UW College of Education.

Will you try or endorse my product?

No. We do not mention, endorse, or purchase outside services and products.

I specialize in teaching and learning at another university. Can we talk about partnerships?
