Examination of the design principles and procedures underlying the creation of both print and electronic information presentations. Topics include: print vs. electronic media, designing for the page and screen, information topologies, and hypermedia. Seminar includes a design project. Class description
We examine the principles and practices for designing print and online documents. We look at traditional print documents, innovative document formats, PowerPoint, blogs and wikis, hypertext and the Web, adaptive documents, and virtual reality.
