Fundamentals of oral and written Swedish. Second in a sequence of three.
Class description
This course is a continuation of Swedish 101. The goal of this course is to continue your introduction to Swedish as it is used in everyday contexts. You will be able to talk about yourself, your family and your home, describe people and objects, talk about events that occurred in the past and discuss topics such as food, professions and education, plans for the future etc.

General method of instruction
The course will be taught in a communicative way. In other words, in-class activities and homework will focus on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills and will incorporate cultural information. Authentic materials will be used whenever possible. Class will be conducted almost exclusively in Swedish.
Recommended preparation
Your attendance and participation are essential to being successful. You will be expected to attend class regularly, prepare for class daily, and speak as much Swedish as possible.
