Opportunity for first- and second-year medical students to gain personal experience with clinical faculty members in the community. Students observe general aspects of private practice, including clinical problems seen; practice limitation; doctor-doctor, doctor-patient, and doctor-nurse relationships in the office and hospital. Prerequisite: permission of department.
Class description
Exposure to general surgery clinic as well as surgical procedures in clinic as well as in the operating room.
