This three-credit course in Evidence Based Practice is taught Spring Quarter in the Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences. The course builds upon what students learned about clinical methods in SPHSC 500 and “external” research evidence in SPHSC 506. The focus here will be on the “internal” evidence, namely Evidence in Clinical Practice and Evidence of Patient Preferences for decision-making in Speech-Language Pathology, according to Evidence Based Practice principles.
