Class Description
Social Work Practice in Community Mental Health II
This course continues to evolve the content of Social Work Practice in Community Mental Health I. Course assignments will be individually tailored for students who have not taken the previous course. Students who have taken Social Work Practice in Community Mental Health I will experience complementary and new instruction on topics including: recovery; residential services; working with anxiety disorders; multicultural competency with mentally ill populations; working with concurrent developmental disabilities, sexual minorities, and geriatric mentally ill populations; and, social welfare benefits.
