Examines the works of Vladimir Nabokov, from his early novels written in Europe to his later masterpieces, including Lolita, Pnin, Pale Fire, and Ada. Offered: AWSp.
Class description
The course will deal with the AMERICAN novels of Vladimir Nabokov: Pnin, Lolita, and Pale Fire. We will also read parts of his autobiography, Speak, Memory and some short stories written in English.
