Advanced Seminar in Comparative Politics

Selected comparative political problems, political institutions, processes, and issues in comparative perspective. Strongly recommended: POL S 204.

Class description

Description: This course explores the relationship between geography and the construction and enforcement of law. Law is constructed in a formal language, but it is practiced daily in ways that affect how landscapes are constructed and experienced. Similarly, landscapes shape how law is understood and enacted.
