Class description
The course covers selected topics in numerical methods with strong emphasis on statistical analysis techniques and simulation methods. A substantial portion of the course will be devoted to exploring the techniques and methods required for the analysis and evaluation of physics measurements, including discussions on active research questions including the merits of frequentist or Bayesian approaches.
