Introduces student to community pharmacy practice. Students process prescriptions, begin to manage drug therapy, communicate with patients, and provide public health activities in the patient care setting. Seminars allow for orientation, discussion/reflection, and progress assessment. Emphasizes legal requirements for practice, fulfills requirements for entering patient care, and exposes student to leaders in community pharmacy practice. Second in a series of four.
