Seminar in Nineteenth-Century Music: 1830-1890

Prerequisite: MUHST 500.

Class description

"French Art Song." We will study songs by Berlioz, Faure, Duparc, Debussy, and Poulenc, exploring current research on French song, poetry, and society.
