Seminar on selected topics in general history, with special emphasis on preparation for field examinations. Topics vary according to interests of students and instructor.

Class description

Imperial Russian History: Historiography The goal of the course is to familiarize students with the historiographical traditions and trends in the field of Imperial Russian history. The focus will be on approaches, major issues, and debates in historical writing.
