Class description
The complex interaction of business, government and society; critical analysis of the power and influence of corporations; the importance of business ethics, principles of corporate social responsibilitly, internal and external control of the corporations, corporate obligations to the shareholders, employees and customers of the corporations, corporate obligations to the community and society.

General method of instruction
Lecture/discussion; small groups work on answering questions on cases; videos.
Recommended preparation
Read all assignments before the day we discuss the material in class. Attend class every day. Print assignments from Blackboard and bring the articles to class to refer to during discussions. Download transcripts of videos, when available. Take thorough notes. Ask questions and participate in discussions. Stay engaged in the class and current in your readings.
