Computational Techniques in Mechanical Engineering

Advanced heat transfer studies of interest to mechanical engineers. Subject coverage varies from year to year. Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Offered: Sp.

Class description

This course will present practical numerical methods for the solution of selected problems from mechanical engineering.

You will need to know how to write a computer program.

You can use any programming language you like. I will be using python (and maybe MATLAB) to solve the example and homework problems.
