Biomedical Health Informatics Research Colloquium

Provides forum for extensive interactive research discussions. Format is round table with short presentations and long facilitated discussion amongst students and core BHI faculty. Both students and faculty present. Topics primarily research focused (ongoing and proposed research.), but also journal articles, current topics of debate, and other. Credit/no-credit only. Offered: AWSp.

Class description

A discussion focused seminar of actual or research use cases and scenarios of the Semantic Web as it applies to biomedical and health sciences.

Student learning goals

Exposure to current research using Semantic Web within life sciences and health domains.

General method of instruction

Journal Club and discussion.
