Provides forum for extensive interactive research discussions. Format is round table with short presentations and long facilitated discussion amongst students and core BHI faculty. Both students and faculty present. Topics primarily research focused (ongoing and proposed research.), but also journal articles, current topics of debate, and other. Credit/no-credit only. Offered: AWSp.
Class description
Bioinformatics scripting study groups, covering R, Python, Unix, MySQL and Ruby skills. Students may participated in any combination of sessions offered at UW or FHCRC.

Each participant must co-teach/co-present at least one section of the course material
Participation in at least 10 sessions, and co-teaching/co-presentation of course material for at least one session. Students may get credit for participation in Wednesday 9:00am sessions on R programming at UW or Thursday 9:00am sessions on Python/Unix programming at FHCRC.
