Class description
This course is an introduction to serving children and teens in a public library. You do not need any previous experience or skills to successfully complete this course. This class will share some techniques for delivering services, outreach, community partnerships, programming, and readers' advisory tools to children and teens in the public library. This overview includes practical assignments, guest spots from youth services professionals, and readings/discussions on youth development, and services.
