Elementary Latin

Reading of selections from classical Latin literature. Third in a sequence of three. Prerequisite: LATIN 102. Offered: Sp.

Class description

In Latin 103, we cover some of the finer points of Latin syntax and morphology, such as conditional clauses, and deponent verbs. We then transition to the reading of Latin literature with the letters of Pliny the Younger, and Ovid's fictional letters from mythological heroines, the "Heroides".
