Recommended preparation

IBUS 300 is recommended, but it will NOT be required. Curiosity about Asian business and a desire to learn some stragic planning skills is all that is needed.

Class assignments and grading

Each student will do a presentation on a Harvard case focusing on a US or Asian company planning an investment in Asia. A 5-7 page written case analysis also is required. Tests are take home.

Grades will be given for the presentation, the paper, the take home tests, and participation. Grades tend to average 3.5.
