Colloquium in International Studies

Required colloquium for first-year Master in International Studies (MAIS) students. Informal introduction to the faculty and major avenues of research in international studies. Credit/no credit only.

Class description

First-year MAIS students will get to know 1)each other, 2) JSIS faculty, 3)university resources, e.g.,library and CSSCR, 4)the sub-fields of IS.

General method of instruction

Weekly visitors give talks and presentations followed by discussion.

Recommended preparation

Required course for first-year IS masters students and limited to those students.

None, other than attendance.
