Colloquium in International Studies

Required colloquium for first-year Master in International Studies (MAIS) students. Informal introduction to the faculty and major avenues of research in international studies. Credit/no credit only.

Class description

First part of a three-quarter required colloquium for first-year Masters in International Studies students. Students will get to know 1) each other, 2) JSIS faculty, 3) University resources, e.g., library and CSSCR, 4) the sub-fields of IS. The class is a colloquium with weekly visitors. Success in the course is based upon attendance.
