Cooperative Software Design

Introduces the theory and practice of cooperative user-centered software design, applying fundamental theories and techniques from social psychology, computer-supported collaborative work, and software engineering. Prerequisite: INFO 360.

Class description

If you have any interest in working in the software industry (whether as a developer, tester, usability engineer, user experience designer, program manager, consultant, etc), you should be in this course. This is a course provides fundamental insights about how to design things in an organizational setting, as a team.

General method of instruction

Classroom activities, project, and some lecture.

Recommended preparation

INFO 360, prior experience with basic web development.
