Special Topics in Industrial Engineering

Class description

This course provides:

a. Managements' roles in overseeing an occupational safety program b. The engineers' responsibilities for ensuring a safe work environment c. Material and practical methods for assessing safety, promoting safe practices, hazards and their control. d. Remediation technologies of hazardous contaminated materials. f. Systems safety and practical methods for performing safety analyses g. Special topics in safety including musculoskeletal disorders, noise, vibration, radiation, slips, trips and falls
