Qualitative Research Methods for Public Health

Covers a range of qualitative, ethnographic tools for practical applications in public health. Methods covered include direct observation, informant interviews, focus groups, and formal methods. Covers Rapid Assessment Procedures and Participatory Action Research. Student teams investigate research questions using these techniques. Offered: jointly with G H 537.
